The rectangular bluish-gray agate dial within nephrite supports, the rectangular base with black enamel chapters, red enameled hands and center of geometric design to the ribbed side panels with black enamel door to the back opening to winder and movement, all accented with cabochon coral studded detail, signed Boucheron, Paris, movement signed Vacheron Constantin, numbered 407563, with French assay and maker's marks; circa 1928.

Condition
In very good condition, especially considering age. The manual movement, currently running, is signed Vacheron & Constantin, 17 jewels, five 5 adj. Straight line lever escapement movement with cut bimetallic compensation balance, with Breguet balance spring. The clock's hardstone components remain intact, with crisp edges. The agate body is more slate blue colored than pictured in the printed catalogue. Some discoloration and minor denting to the gold elements at the sides and base of the clock. A retailer's plaque for Boucheron is applied to the reverse. Maker's marks for Verger Freres and assay marks found on the side of the gold elements flanking the clock. Accompanied by a fitted black leather presentation box signed Boucheron, finished in black velvet and satin. 5 x 5 5/8 x 2 inches.
Verger Freres and Vacheron & Constantin worked together from 1880 to 1930. Verger Freres was the known Paris representative for Vacheron & Constantin.
