Supporting 11 charms designed as musicians centered by a conductor, set with round, baguette, single and triangular-cut diamonds weighing approximately 3.70 carats, accented by variously-cut sapphires, rubies, emeralds and citrines, further set with round and baguette diamonds weighing approximately 2.00 carats, suspended from a backchain of later addition, necklace length 16 inches, bracelet length 6¼ inches, the bracelet with French assay and maker's marks; circa 1930.
Condition
In good condition overall. The diamonds are approximately G-J color, VS-SI clarity. The rubies are medium slightly purplish red and moderately included. The sapphires range from medium to medium-deep violetish blue and lightly included. The emeralds are medium light to medium very slightly bluish green and moderately included. The citrines range from medium slightly yellowish orange to medium-deep brownish orange, lightly to moderately included. Fitted with a safety closure. Please note that an emerald has fallen out of one charm and will be replaced by Sotheby's for the purchaser.
