Condition
This work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of wear and handling to the edges. There is light scattered craquelure on the surface. The reverse of the canvas is wax-lined. There are several areas of restoration which fluoresce darkly under ultraviolet light. Most notably is a 2 inch by 4 inch area of inpainting is 8 inches from the left edge and 8 inches from the top edge. There are a few pinpoint areas of restoration along the bottom right edge. The left side of the canvas' top edge also fluoresces darkly under ultraviolet light. Framed.
