This work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of light wear and handling toward the edges, resulting in some slight fraying to the bottom right and top left corners. It appears the surface has been varnished. There are some fine areas of craquelure throughout and a few associated spots of paint loss in the center red painted portion. There are faint stretcher bar impressions along the top, right and bottom sides. Under ultraviolet light inspection, a few surface accretions fluoresce brightly, but there does not appear to be any evidence of restoration. Unframed.
