The board is bowed slightly in the bottom right hand corner. There are some minor abrasions to the extreme edges, including all four corners. There are areas of reticulation throughout the work, most noticeable in the white pigment, as well as areas of craquelure to the white pigment in the upper right and bottom left hand quadrant. Ultraviolet light reveals two minor spots of fluorescence to the extreme left hand edge, most probably in keeping with a previous frame abrasion.
