Condition
Rotten Row:
The sheet is not laid down but is adhered by three hinges along the top edge.
There is a noticeable crease in the top right corner, with two further very faint creases running horizontally through the centre of the composition, indicating the work may have been rolled at one stage. There are one or two very small, very minor tears to the extreme edges of the work, not visible in the present mount.
There is time staining to the sheet, partially visible in the present mount, with further isolated spots of staining to the sheet, and one or two spots of possible foxing. There is a very find surface scratch in the top left hand quadrant witn one or two very minor spots elsewhere to the sheet. This excepting the work appears in good overall condition
Housed behind glass in a gilt wooden framed, within a linen-textured and card mount.
Eagle stretching its wings:
The sheet is not laid down but is adhered by two hinges in the top corners.
There is slight cockling to the sheet, and deckling to the edges, with the top hinges apparent.
There is very minor surface dirt, with a spot of staining just above the beak. This excepting the work appears in good overall condition.
Housed behind glass in a silver-painted wooden frame and float-mounted against card within a linen-textured mount.
Owl:
The sheet is fully laid down to a backing sheet, itself adhered to a backing card by two hinges along the top edge.
There are one or two slight abrasions to the extreme edge of the sheet, and an area of slight rubbing just to the right of the bird's left wing. Elsewhere there is very minor staining apparent to the sheet. This excepting the work appears in good overall condition.
Housed behind glass in an ornate gilt wooden frame and set within a linen-textured mount.
