Etching with drypoint, 1659, a very fine, rich impression of the second state (of four), printing with rich burr and vertical wiping scratches in the sky, on laminated japan paper

Condition

With small margins circa 3-5mm all around, in good condition apart from a horizontal fold (inherent to the paper?) across the upper part of image, a vertical printing crease at centre with an associated small unprinted area at right of column slightly retouched in pencil, unframed.
