Condition

Under a slightly dirty varnish. several small losses along right edge as can be seen in catalogue photograph. there is excellent retention of the paint surface on figure and lovely detail. under UV: very little fluoresces; just some tiny retouches on cheek and around mouth. Offered in an elaborately carved and gilt oval frame.
