Condition
The canvas has a glue relining which is firm and stable. The paint surface is well retained with some reworking in the eagle lower left, scattered retouching and repaint in the earth floor and possible small old repaired tear in the wing of the cockerel and possible restoration in the tree trunk upper right and retouches to abrasion on all edge, evident under UV. There are windows of old varnish over the head of the cockerel lower left and the pigeon centre left which fluoresce under UV. The painting is offered in a carved wood frame and is ready to hang in its current state.
