Catalogue Note

The present group has been ascribed to da Tradate's circle by Andrea Franci. Stylistically, it can be compared with a group of martyr saints, St. Lucy and a Franciscan martyr saint in the Museo dell' Opera del Duomo in Milan. The drapery style and overall composition is typical of the international Gothic style as it was adapted in the Lombard region in the later 14th and early 15th century.
