Condition

Standard surface abrasions and pitting from firing, particularly on reverse. Restored chips in the black area along female's proper right cheek and headdress. Old restoration to surface chips on reverse, approximately 6 1/2 by 2 1/2 inches.

The reverse of this 'vaso' is painted with a large black sphere emmitting multiple rays or legs. Identification of the exact object represented, a special ball used in local games or multiple-user mallets, is challenging. However, these objects are usually thought to be puns on family names.
