Condition
These two prints, on paper with a surface sheen, are in generally excellent condition. Both prints have some minor wear to the margin edges and corners.
'1938 Wrestler' - The following are visible upon close examination in the right portion of the image: a two-inch matte area and a thin scuff, with attendant deposits, possibly of retouching. On the reverse of the mount: 'exhibition print' (in ink), '30 [circled]' and 'V [circled]' (in pencil) are written in an unidentified hand. Also on the reverse are two estate stamps, one crossed out and the other signed by Michael Ward Stout, Executor.
'1939 Wrestler' - There is a small loss of the upper paper ply along the right margin. A few deposits of retouching are visible. On the reverse, 'V [circled]' is written in an unidentified hand in pencil.
