Provenance
Acquired from the photographer, 1967
Condition
This early print is in generally excellent condition. Upon very close examination, the following are visible: the lower right edge of the print is very slightly rubbed; and a pen-point-sized matte deposit of indeterminate nature in the lower left quadrant. Only visible in high raking light and very close inspection is a 4-inch hairline surface scratch near the upper edge of the print that does not appear to break the emulsion. On the mount, there is a half-inch perimeter around the print that is slightly lighter in tonality. Visible in the corners of this perimeter is graphite offsetting.
This print has recently undergone conservation to remove a glued-down overmat. A full treatment report is available upon request.
