in the stil modern taste, rectangular on bracket feet, enamelled with stylized blossoms, scrolling vines, and geometric motifs on a stippled gilt ground, the hinged domed cover centered with a stylized flowerhead, with two swing handles and enamelled hasp, with French control marks

overall very good condition, with only some tiny nicks to enamel and small wear to gilding consistent with age
