the sides of the oval bowl painted with swimming swans within colourful shaded scrolling foliage on turquoise grounds, lobed hook handle, the base engraved with initials SM and inscribed 'Karlsbad 9 August/ 1905', 84 standard, struck with partial mark, possibly of Orest Kurlyukov
