carved of smoky quartz in the form of a pine cone, the collar with opaque white, blue and red enamel strigillation, within bands of rose-cut diamonds and circular-cut rubies and rope twist borders, the finial and pushpiece set with cabochon sapphires, the base with further jewels, struck with maker's mark AH or AN (Cyrillic), 72 standard
