depicting the Virgin presented to the priest Zacharias, her parents Anna and Joachim standing behind her, accompanied by a group of Hebrew women, the original wood frame partly gilt and carved with bold relief foliage

Condition
Only some traces remaining of the original gilding of the integral wooden carved frame of the icon, the carved frame with substantial damage to the left side, probably due to fire, the painting with extensive repainting all over the icon.
