Condition
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although it does not accurately convey the richness of the impastos in the original work.
The canvas is slightly loose on the right side. Few stabilized hairline cracks located near the right edge in the white impasto area are visible under very close inspection. Two stabilized hairline cracks located near the lower right quadrant, 25 cm from the right edge and 10 cm from the lower edge, are visible under close inspection. A web of stabilized cracks located in the black matte area, 55 cm from the lower edge and 110 from the left edge, is visible under close inspection.
Under UV light, there is no evidence of any retouching.
This work is in very good condition.
