Description

of shallow rounded form with everted rim, decorated with a dark cobalt blue underglaze, the well with a roundel depicting a cricket amongst tall foliage and flying birds, the cavetto with alternating cartouches containing floral motifs and birds between bands with stems, the exterior with stylised foliate blossoms, pseudo-mark to base

Condition

In overall good condition, three drill holes to foot with metal-hanging, very minor chips to rim and some craquelure to glaze, old collector's number painted to base, as viewed.
