the lightly curved steel blade with flat edge and slightly flaring tip, one side with gold overlaid calligraphic inscriptions and floral details, the hilt and scabbard covered in dyed-green shagreen, the scabbard with copper mount, and with two loops and metal-mounts with gold en-suite overlaid designs

Condition

The blade with some corrosion, pitting and re-waxing, some of the gold also appears to have been retouched, metal mounts with corrosion, ware to shagreen surface of hilt and scabbard as consistent with age and use, part of hilt slightly loose, small gemstones missing, parts of gold overlay decoration missing, as viewed.
