Catalogue Note

Graham Greene on his newfound appreciation of Robert Lowell.  Writing to Ian Hamilton, author of an important biography of Lowell, Greene confides, "Lowell—like Milton—has always been a blind spot to me, & you opened my eyes both to the man & the poet, & I feel enormous gratitude.  Yours is surely the finest literary biography of our time."
