Willis of Warren County, Mississippi, embossed paper seal of the United States. — Andrew Jackson. Printed document signed ("Andrew Jackson") as seventh president, on paper (15 3/4 x 19 3/4 in.; 400 x 502 mm), Washington, before 21 August 1835, accomplished in a clerical hand, countersigned by the Secretary of State ("John Forsyth"), embossed paper seal of the United States. — Martin Van Buren. Engraved document signed ("M Van Buren") as eighth president, on vellum (12 1/2 x 17 5/8 in.; 318 x 447 mm), Washington, 22 July 1840, accomplished in a clerical hand, countersigned by the Secretary of States ("John Forsyth"), being Ramon Leon Sanchez's appointment as United States Consul to Court of Carthagena in the Republic of New Granada, embossed paper seal of the United States.
