Catalogue Note

In March 1964, 3 poems of Baudelaire, "Sur le Tasse en prison d'Eugene Delacroix," "Bien loin d'ici" and "Le Gouffre," were published by Albert Collignon, editor of the Revue Nouvelle. He asks Mr. Collignon to be paid for them, whatever price seems fair.
About to leave for Brussels, he was to finish there his new book Poemes en prose. He would like to know if the editor is still interested in publishing some of them and proposes to send him fragments: "Je ne sais pas si vous etes toujours dans l'intention d'imprimer des poemes en prose. Je finirai l'ouvrage a Bruxelles et de là j'enverrai des fragments aux personnes qui m'ont fait l'honneur de m'en demander". Collignon was not to publish the Poemes en prose.
