Catalogue Note
Presentation copy of Harry Crosby's anthology of his favorite poems, printed by Darantiere the year before the Black Sun Press was founded in Paris. The presentation inscription, on an initial blank, reads, "To Alec from Harry. A Paris, ce 22 octobre 1924."
Unlike the copy examined by Minkoff, the present c🅠opy does n𝐆ot have "Printed for Private Use Only. Not for Sale" on the verso of the title-page. In common with the Minkoff copy, it is rebound in half calf, most likely at Crosby's direction.
