Publisher's printed wrappers with fold-over flaps; glue stains and browning on spine, some staining on covers. Blue buckram folding-case, blue morocco lettering-piece on spine.

Catalogue Note
A presentation copy from Harry Crosby to his uncle J. P. Morgan, issued the month of the Wall Street crash. Exemplaire nomanitif for Morgan, with a presentation note on Black Sun stationary laid in: "Uncle Jack, With love from the editors. Harry and Caresse. Paris, October 1929." This copy is on Japanese vellum, but is not one of the 15 numbered copies, each with an original drawings. The whole edition comprised 400 copies.
