with three deeply cut notches forming three arcs, each set with a pair of three-pronged teeth, finely incised on one side with two horizontal lines and one diagonal line, the stone of rich red brown color with chestnut and paler patches of calcification to the surface

Compared to the catalogue image, the piece is darker and translucent under light. . There is an opaque area along one edge. The piece has been broken into three pieces and restored. Please request an image that shows the breaks.
