seated, leaning slightly to one side, on a stepped rockwork plinth, one hand placed lightly on the raised leg, the other on the simulated rockwork, wearing traditional long robes secured by a ring clasp at the shoulder, the face, set with an urna, sensitively modeled and bearing a serene, contemplative expression, the figure richly covered in green, amber black and pale green glaze

Condition

There is restoration, and possible replacement, of one hand. Both sleeves have been restored, particularly around the edges. There is glaze crazing and wear, particularly around the base and there is a firing crack to the interior.
