The lower corner of the galleried rim of the vase is slightly polished. There is a stained fissure line running across the base and into the body on both sides, one side approximately 4 in. (10.1 cm) long, the other approx. 1 1/4 in. (3.1 cm) long. The cover has scattered minor nicks to the rim.
