- rock crystal
the first carved on one side with a small goat beneath a gnarled pine tree, the reverse with fruiting pomegranate, the sides with taotie mask handles suspending loose rings, the cover with a pomegranate finial; the second, of guang form, carved with five clambering chilong including one on the cover (4)

The first: Sotheby's New York, 2nd February 1982, lot 358.
Condition
The first: The vase has minute chips around the rim and a small chip around the foot. The cover has a minute chip to the tip of the knop and scattered minute nicks to the interior rim.
The second: The vase has scattered minute nicks to the inner mouth rim and a polished nick to the exterior mouth rim. There are scattered minute nicks to the body, foot, and one dragon's leg. The cover has scattered small chips, one polished.
