the handles formed as two chilong, with raised bosses and bowstring bands around the shoulder and a single bowstring around the foot, the base with an apocryphal six-character Xuande mark

Condition
The base is drilled with a circular hole for lamp wiring. There is an elliptical hole in the foot, and a patched area in the foot where a small section has been cut out, with residue on the inner edge. There is a patched area at the base of the vase, and a crack that has been stabilized with a patch in the side of the vase, visible in the interior, and another patch at the base of the neck. These patches appear to made been made during manufacture. There is a casting flaw in the raised filet that encircles the foot and beneath one handle. The surface with expected wear.
