The robe is mounted and framed and has not been examined out of its frame. The silk ground is stained and faded. There is wear to the edges of the collar and the sleeves. One dragon is missing one eyeball, and there is loss to some of the embroidered thread, most noticeable in the lishui border. The lining on the top of the collar is slightly frayed.
