the deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to an everted rim, brightly painted and enameled around the exterior with a green and red dragon in pursuit of a 'flaming pearl', divided by phoenix in flight and reserved on a dense leafy scroll ground, all below the bajixiang (Eight Buddhist Emblems) and ruyi band at the rim, the interior with a dragon medallion six-character seal mark in underglaze blue

Condition

There are three restored chips and burst air bubbles to the rim, and a 1 in. (2.5 cm) crack to the body which has brownish discoloration under light.
