Terre de faïence platter, 1953, from the edition of 400, partially glazed and painted, with the Madoura and Edition Picasso stamps

The ceramic is in good condition, apart from two small areas of loss towards the top centre of the platter. Close inspection reveals some minor and unobtrusive scuffmarks, signs of handling marks along the extreme outer edges and a few very fine firing cracks in the unglazed black area towards the upper right corner. There are stilt marks on the underside of the platter.
