The fancy link chain supporting an oval-shaped cabochon sapphire measuring approximately 24.9 by 17.4 by 10.2 mm, surmounted by a smaller oval-shaped cabochon sapphire measuring approximately 10.2 by 8.0 by 5.6 mm, the chain set at intervals with sapphire beads, set with one hexagon-shaped diamond weighing approximately .25 carat, the clasp further set with round sapphires, length 17½ inches, signed VC&A, numbered 415.

In good condition. The center cabochon sapphire is medium-deep violetish blue, translucent and moderately included with examples of surface-reaching inclusions and fractures throughout. The remainder of the sapphires range from a medium deep- slightly violetish blue to grayish blue, moderately to heavily included, with one bead displaying a significant chip, not evident when worn. The diamond is approximately F-G color, VVS clarity. Gross weight approximately 33 dwts, fitted with a safety closure.
