Comprising a necklace, ring and a pair of earclips, the necklace of foliate design, set with seven cabochon sapphires weighing approximately 47.35 carats, accented by round diamonds weighing approximately 18.75 carats, length 18½ inches; the ring centered by a cabochon sapphire weighing approximately 9.80 carats, accented by round diamonds weighing approximately 5.70 carats, size 6½, numbered 22586, with maker's mark for Kurt Wayne; the hexagon-shaped earclips set with two cabochon sapphires weighing approximately 7.80 carats, framed by round diamonds weighing approximately 1.45 carats.
Condition
All pieces in good condition. The sapphires are a medium to medium-deep violetish purple and moderately included, the sapphire in the ring is more saturated in color than in the other stones. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, predominantly VS clarity. Maker's mark on the ring is located on the inner shank. Gross weight of necklace approximately 67 dwts, gross weight of earclips approximately 11 dwts, and gross weight of ring approximately 9 dwts. Length of earclips approximately 7/8 inch.
