The five-strand necklace of graduated design, composed of 697 natural pearls in various hues measuring approximately 8.1 to 3.0 mm, completed by an openwork clasp set with round diamonds weighing approximately 1.15 carats, length 16 inches.
Condition
In good condition. The pearls range in shape from round to barrel-shaped with a variety of body colors, including white, yellow, gray and brown. Several exhibit blemishes to the skins, including peeling, cracking, and pitting. Some pearls show pink and green overtones, with fair to good luster. Nicely graduated and well-strung. The diamonds in the clasp are approximately H-I color, VS-SI clarity. The weight of the pearls is approximately 195 chau. Accompanied by SSEF report no. 72595 stating that the pearls are natural, saltwater, with no indications of artificial color modification.
