Movement is in working order while cataloguing, but it has not been tested for the accuracy of time keeping and a service might be required at the buyer's expense in the near future. Dial is clean and intact. Case with very light scuffs from wear. This watch has bearly been worn. Overall in very good condition.

In 2009, A. Lange & Söhne introduced its new invention – Z🎶eitwerk, the very first mechanical wristwatch with a digital time display jumping numerals, a seemingly very simple time-telling mechanism elegantly conceals a highly complex movement composed of 388 parts.  The constant force escapement is used to generate the switching impulse for the jumping hour and minute displays and also to drive the balance with even power. It represents the pinnacle in German horological aesthetics and won the L'Aiguille d'Or Gran☂d Prize at the 2009 Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève. 

With infinite creativity, Lange unveiled the Zeitwerk "Luminous" one year later.  This is a playful update version by introducing a translucent dial and luminous numerals. The time display bridge is sculpted from German silver and further with PVD-coating.  With a more contemporary design, the Lange Zeitwerk "Luminous" was produced in very limited number of 100 pieces and without doubt one of the most popular m📖odels of this eminent brand.
