Condition
Manual winding movement running and minute repeating function in working order while cataloguing, however the watch has not been tested for accuracy of time keeping and a service might be needed at buyer's expense. Minute repeating sound is crisp and well-paced. Onyx dial is intact, nice and clean. Case and buckle with scuffs from light wear only. Overall appears in very good condition. Rare and Collectable!

Catalogue Note
Established in 1846 and named after its original founder, Ulysse Nardin was best known for manufacturing accurate marine chronometers supplied to navies over 50 countries during the 1800s. In 1983, the company was purchased by Rolf W. Schnyder and partnered up with Dr. Ludwig Oechslin to create the most forefront timepieces. Today, Ulysse Nardin continues its tradition to combine science and innovation not only to produce complicated timepieces but also watches with fun and joy by using modern materials and manufacturing techniques .
In 2004, Ulysse Nardin announced the addi🍬tional achievement in time-keeping art with great pride - Minute Repeater Circus. It offers spectacular animation of circus scene on the black onyx “stage”. Each of the six circus figures is purely hand-carved. When the minute repeater lever is activated, the monkey begins interfering in the ballgame of the clown; this movement indicates the hour chiming. The trainer with the whip reaches out to the tiger, indicating the quarters. The tiger stretches its paw, indicating the minutes. The bear bows 🍎in front of the ballet dancer while the chiming mechanism is activated.
The Minute Repeater Circus is undeniably one of the most fascinating horological masterpieces created by Ulysse Nardin which echoes with the spirit of the brand. The platinum editi♔on of this model is available exclusively in 30 pieces, the current example is Number 09.
