Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down and affixed to the window mount at all four corners. The left edge has been torn. The sheet is slightly time-stained and there are some handling marks to the left of the sheet, away from the composition, possibly studio dirt. There is a repaired tear towards the lower edge of the sheet and a few small repaired tears along the left edge. There are a few scattered pinholes to the left, lower and right edges of the sheet. There are a few thin creases towards the upper edge and a few to the lower edge, one of which relates to a repaired tear towards the right part of the lower edge. There is a glue stain to the centre of the right edge and a further repair to the upper right corner. There is a sketch of an artist at work on the reverse of the sheet with some scattered studio stains. Otherwise, this work is in overall fairly good condition.
