Condition
Executed on cream laid paper, laid down on the artist's mount, t-hinged to the window mount in two places along the upper edge. The work is slightly time stained with some previous mount staining 0.5cm out from the image sheet along all four edges and not visible when framed. There is some general wear and small nicks to parts of the extreme edges of the mount and an ink stain to the lower part of the left mount edge, probably a studio stain. There is a vertical crease to the centre of the right edge of the mount. The upper, right and lower edges of the image sheet are deckled. There is some pigment rubbing to some of the white and blue pigment in the image. There are some tape remnants, a provenance label and various inscriptions on the mount verso. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition.
