Condition
The canvas is not lined. UV examination reveals a few tiny spots of retouching to the cloud towards the centre of the the upper edge, two spots in the rocks in the background and a few spots to the body of the horse and the tail. There are a few fly spots in places and there are a few pin holes along the upper edge and left corner, two to the lower left edge and one to the lower right. There are a few lines of craquelure with some associated small paint losses in places to the sky and a spot of paint loss to the rock. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition.
