Condition
The canvas is not lined. There is a layer of uneven varnish preventing the UV light from fully penetrating but UV examination does reveal some fluorescence on the lower part of the church, possibly relating to some historic retouching. There are some very fine lines of craquelure to the sky. Otherwise this work is in overall good condition.
