Condition
The canvas is not lined. The surface is richly textured with well preserved areas of impasto. There is some dirt and detritus on the surface of the work, in particular two small spots of surface dirt are visible on the centre right edge, which may benefit from cleaning. There is a 1cm. band of paint loss along the upper edge, associated with previous framing. UV examination reveals one small possible area of retouching on the lower right edge. Otherwise this work is in good condition.
