Condition

( I.) Executed on cream laid paper, glued to the mount in four places. The sheet is time stained and there is mount staining visible to all four edges. There is a spot of discolouration probably relating to laying down process visible to all four corners and partially visible in the mount. The upper and lower edges are slightly unevenly cut. There is a pinhole to the centre of the upper edge, with a minute tear above it. Otherwise the work is in good condition. ( II.) Executed on cream laid paper, glued to an open back sheet of paper with reveals the verso along all four edges. With regard to the recto, the sheet is slightly time stained with mount staining to the edges and some spots of foxing. On the verso, there are four vertical stripes of time staining, probably due to previous framing. Otherwise the work is in good condition.
