The canvas has not been lined. The surface is very richly textured. Faint lines of old frame abrasion are visible along the extreme right edge. A couple very minor remnants of tape are visible at the bottom left and top right corners. One faint line of stable craquelure is visible toward center left. A faint surface scratch is visible running vertically at top left. Under UV light: there are a few tiny spots of dark fluorescence most notably along the scratch line at upper left but no inpainting is apparent. The work is in good condition.
