Good condition overall. The painting is lined and the edges are taped. There is a small spot of paint-loss revealing the grain of the canvas at upper left. Thin lines of stable craquelure are visible in thickest areas of paint towards center of lower edge and to left-hand building. There is a thin glossy varnish which impedes a thorough examination under UV light but some scattered faint spots of fluorescence indicate old retouching to craquelure in the sky and the white pigment towards center of lower edge.
