Executed on cream wove paper, laid down on Japan paper. The sheet is fixed to the over-mount along the edges. The pigments remain remarkably bright and fresh. There is an itinerant repaired tear running horizontally across the lower part of the composition and a small indent to the surface of the sheet towards the centre of the upper edge. Otherwise, apart from some light time staining and a few faint spots of foxing visible on the reverse, this work is in overall good stable condition.
