Condition

The canvas has not been lined. The surface is very richly textured with scattered lines of cracking inherent to the artist's technique. 3 pinholes are visible to the top right corner. There is a pindot spot of paint loss to the extreme bottom left corner. Under UV light: a thick layer of varnish is difficult to read through, though a few strokes of inpainting are visible to the figure's right eyelid and right edge of face, in 2 spots along the extreme bottom edge as well as the letters "CAB" in the artist's signature. The work is in good condition.
