Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. The canvas is unlined. All of the collage elements are well intact. The turning edges of the canvas are covered with a broad string stapled intermittently to the stretcher. There is adhesive residue evident around the collaged elements which has darkened with time. There is some time staining evident to the paper and light surface soiling. There is some slight undulation to the paper collage elements. Under close inspection, there are a few areas of hairline craquelure in the watercolor, where the medium is more heavily applied, with some associated areas of pigment loss. Framed under Plexiglas.
