This large work has not been well restored, but has recently received some restorations. However there are losses which have not been restored throughout the calligraphy in the lower part of the painting. There are also a few losses throughout the procession. The attempted restorations in the lower half the picture seem to be mostly confined to the sky; these are very broad and nonspecific. In the element in the upper right, there are again a few unrestored losses. There appear to be some broad restorations to an original canvas join running vertically down the entire length of the right side of the canvas; this runs down the left side of the altar in the upper right. There are restorations in a few other areas. There are a few losses visible in the painting in the upper center and upper left, and some broad rather aimless restorations visible in other areas. This is a large and complex work. While proper restoration will be a time consuming project, it will reveal that a work in respectable condition, despite the restorations currently visible.
